Todd Downey

Todd Downey has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Todd currently works at Mylo as a Site Reliability Engineer and previously held the position of DevOps Engineer at the same company. Prior to joining Mylo, Todd worked at Kansas City Southern as a Senior Application Engineer, where they supported and managed the positive train control platform. Before that, they were a System Engineer at Cerner, responsible for supporting and managing the Apache Kafka platform. Todd also has experience as a Dispatcher at CenturyLink, where they dispatched technicians and monitored trouble tickets. Additionally, they worked as a Network Analyst at CenturyLink, supporting customers and field technicians with remote testing of high-speed data lines. Todd started their career at Sprint as an RF Field Tech II, where they maintained and troubleshot CDMA and IDEN equipment.

Todd Downey attended DeVry from 1998 to 2000 and obtained an Associate degree in Electronics. Todd later returned to DeVry from 2010 to 2013 and earned a Bachelor degree in Network Communications Management. In addition to their degrees, Todd also obtained a certification in the Learn Go Course from Codecademy in January 2023.
