Andrew Williams has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Andrew currently holds the position of Chief Legal Officer at myPOS. Prior to this, they worked at Western Union as the Associate General Counsel, Head of Consumer Money Transfer and Payments for Europe, CIS, and Africa. Andrew led the regional business legal team and was involved in various legal matters such as commercial contracting, regulatory investigations, and litigation. Andrew also served as the Divisional General Counsel at Worldpay, where they played a key role during the company's ownership changes and merger. In addition, Andrew worked at MinterEllison and The Ingenious Group in legal roles. Andrew began their legal career as an Associate Solicitor at Hogan Lovells, gaining experience in corporate and commercial law. Andrew's expertise encompasses both private practice and in-house environments, with additional international exposure from a secondment in Hong Kong.

Andrew Williams attended Whitgift School from 1985 to 1993 for their secondary education. Andrew then went on to study at the University of Cambridge from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a BA (Hons) / MA (Cantab) degree in History from Magdalene College. In 1998, they attended Nottingham Law School and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Law (CPE) the following year. Andrew pursued further legal education at The University of Law from 1999 to 2000, where they obtained a Legal Practice Course qualification. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as a Solicitor of England and Wales from the Solicitors Regulation Authority and as a Solicitor of Hong Kong from The Law Society of Hong Kong.
