Peter Cohan

Peter Cohan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development, sales, and marketing within the software and scientific sectors. As the Founder and Principal of The Second Derivative - Great Demo! since May 2003, Peter has focused on enhancing discovery and demonstration skills through various training methods for software organizations. In addition, Peter serves on the Board of Directors for Collaborative Drug Discovery, offering strategic sales and marketing guidance. Other key roles include advising early-stage start-ups at Alchemist Accelerator and providing training on demonstrations for NewallStreet. Earlier in Peter's career, leadership roles at Symyx Technologies and MDL Information Systems involved significant contributions to the development of software tools for scientific applications. Peter holds a BA in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Computer Science from UC San Diego.
