Maggie Kauffman, MPH has a diverse work experience. Maggie began their career as a Lifeguard/Head Swim Coach at the Southwest Swim Association in 2006. In 2011, they held two positions, an Associate at Schnuck Markets, Inc. and an Intern at the City of Columbia- City Council. From 2012-2016, they worked at the Institute for People, Place, and Possibility as a Project Coordinator, where they conducted presentations and trainings at national and regional conferences, developed training curriculum, and wrote nonprofit grants proposals. In 2016, they took on two roles, a Technology Solutions Manager at OMNI Institute and a Research Assistant at Missouri KIDS COUNT. From 2018-2022, they worked at the Denver Department of Public Health and Environment as a Health Equity Data Analyst and Intelligence Section Chief for COVID-19 Response. Maggie is currently employed as a Strategic Partnership Manager at mySidewalk.
Maggie Kauffman, MPH, has an education history that includes a Master's Degree in Public Health: health policy and promotion and global health from the University of Missouri-Columbia, which they obtained between 2013 and 2015. In 2014, they attended the University of the Western Cape. Maggie obtained a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies and Women's and Gender Studies, and was certified in Multicultural Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia between 2011 and 2012. Maggie also attended Queen's University between 2008 and 2011, studying Global Development & Women's and Gender Studies. In 2010, they attended Universidad de Belgrano.
