Scott Delaney is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data, analytics, and digital transformation. Currently serving as the Head of Data and Head of Insight & Innovation at MyState Limited since June 2016, Scott has successfully led initiatives that positioned MyState Bank among the top ten most innovative companies in banking, according to the AFR Boss 2021 Most Innovative Companies list. In addition to current roles, Scott has served as an Advisory Board Member at Stornoway since December 2019, focusing on data-related opportunities and risks, and as a Startup Founder Mentor at Enterprize Tasmania since September 2019. Previous positions include Analytics & Information Manager and Business Intelligence & Data Integration Manager at Hydro Tasmania, where leadership and strategic oversight of analytics and business intelligence capabilities were essential. Scott's educational background includes a Master's in Database Design and Management from Charles Sturt University and executive data science specializations from The Johns Hopkins University.
