Mariz Lowder has a diverse work experience in the field of graphic design. Mariz started their career as a Freelance Graphic Designer at Fly My Photo, LLC in 2016, where they focused on restructuring artworks, enhancing low-quality imagery, and preparing art files for the company's website. In 2016, they also joined Family Dollar as a Production Artist & Package Designer, where they created seasonal package designs and collaborated with the Creative Director and Marketing team.
In 2018, Mariz joined Imagine as a Creative Graphic Designer, where they designed for various media platforms and focused on retail store signage and marketing ads. Mariz also produced graphics and collateral designs for corporate events and company branding.
In 2019, Mariz joined PureRED as a Production Artist, where they created print and digital marketing ads for Lowe's Home Improvement. Mariz was responsible for building and manipulating files and ensuring quality control and efficient production.
Currently, Mariz is working at Mythic as a Senior Production Artist, a role they started in December 2019.
Mariz Lowder completed their education in a sequential manner, starting with their studies at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College from 2008 to 2012. During this period, they pursued both an Associate of Fine Arts (A.F.A.) and an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree, focusing on Fine and Studio Arts. Following this, from 2013 to 2016, they attended The Art Institutes, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Graphic Design.
