Brian Marchiel is the VP of Product Management at MyVest. Brian has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on product management and development.
Brian started their career as an Associate at Cowen and Company, LLC in 2007. Brian then moved to SVB Alliant in December 2005, where they worked as an Associate until September 2007. In September 2007, Brian joined Structural Investment Management as the Vice President. Brian was responsible for the development of a web-based software system to assess fixed income instruments, generate trade orders for brokers and track holdings for clients. Brian also wrote all product requirement documents for the engineering team based on business needs. Brian was a member of the strategy committee focused on market opportunity and resource allocation. In November 2009, they left Structural Investment Management to join MyVest as the VP of Product Management.
At MyVest, Brian is responsible for managing product development from initial conception to deployment. Brian also develops the product roadmap and works with the executive management team on prioritization. Brian has enabled the business to grow from $300 million to over $1.4 billion in assets under management.
Brian Marchiel received their BSE from Duke University in Biomedical Engineering. Brian then went on to get their MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in Finance and General Management. After that, they completed their Certified Financial Planner certification from Boston University. Finally, they received their Certified Financial Planner certification from the CFP Board.
Their manager is Anton Honikman, CEO. Brian Marchiel works with Mike Stanley - CFO, Joanne Pons - VP of Engineering, and Charlie Haims - VP of Marketing.
