Luke Barnes

Luke Barnes is a Senior Software Engineer at N Brown Group since May 2020, previously holding the title of Java Software Engineer. Prior to N Brown Group, Luke worked at Aviva from November 2015 to May 2020 as a Software Engineer, focusing on API development with technologies such as Spring, Apache Camel, and Maven. Early career experience includes a role as a Web Developer where Luke built and redesigned responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python/Django. Luke began in the tech field as a Software Development Consultant at FDM Group, completing a comprehensive training course before joining Aviva. Initial work experience includes a position as a Bar Associate at JD Wetherspoon. Luke Barnes holds a Master’s Degree in Physics from The University of Manchester, earned between 2010 and 2014.
