Brooke Massa is a Conservation Biologist at the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission since March 2012, focusing on land acquisition for wildlife conservation, providing technical guidance to local governments, and conducting research on various species and ecological surveys. Prior experience includes serving as an Environmental Consultant for the Land Trust Alliance, where a needs assessment for conservation organizations was conducted, and a Volunteer/Intern at The Nature Conservancy, enhancing communication strategies. Additionally, Brooke worked as a Researcher for the Wildlands Network, a Natural Resource Management Extension Agent with the Peace Corps, an Environmental Specialist for the City of Boulder, an English Teacher and Translator in Thailand, and an Education Coordinator with Americorps. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Environmental Management from Duke University and a Bachelor's in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley.
