Western Wildlife Diversity Biologist Supervisor at N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission

Kendrick Weeks is an experienced wildlife biologist currently serving as the Western Wildlife Diversity Biologist Supervisor at the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission since January 2006. In this role, Kendrick oversees all Wildlife Diversity Program projects in the Western Region of North Carolina, supervising a team of six full-time biologists. Prior positions include Wildlife Diversity Biologist, where responsibilities included conducting inventory and management for reptile and amphibian Species of Greatest Conservation Need, and Wildlife Technician, managing the Calling Amphibian Survey Program. Before joining the commission, Kendrick worked as a Project Scientist at Ecoscience conducting environmental reviews and wetland restorations, and held various research assistant roles at North Carolina State University and other organizations focusing on breeding bird ecology and species surveys. Kendrick holds a Master of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Appalachian State University.
