Ron Kaplan is an experienced hardware designer with a focus on developing digital stylus boards for Microsoft since May 2015. Kaplan has also worked as a hardware engineer at N-trig, involved in designing touch sensor controllers and digital stylus technologies. Prior to that, Kaplan provided independent analog engineering services, specializing in photodiode receiver designs for clients such as PI Systems and Nano Retina. Earlier career roles include freelance work at Pulse Inteco Systems Ltd., designing low noise photodiode receivers, and serving as head analog designer at Optigo Systems, where project work included laser drivers and analog processing circuits. Kaplan's engineering foundation was established with an Engineer's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
