Kirsty Canning

Kirsty Canning began their work experience in 2010 as a Research Assistant at the Industrial Relations Centre of Victoria University of Wellington. Kirsty also served as a Summer Scholar at the School of Tourism Management during this time. In 2013, Kirsty worked as a Digital & Marketing Communications Coordinator at Trilogy Natural Products Ltd, where they focused on creating engaging content for the skincare brand. Kirsty then joined Office Angels in 2014 as a Temporary Office Assistant. Kirsty worked at Sopra Steria from 2015 to 2017 as a PA & Business Support. Kirsty joined Business Data Partners in 2017 and held various roles, including Marketing Assistant, Marketing Executive, and eventually becoming a Human Resources Business Partner. Currently, Kirsty serves as the Head of People & Marketing at NWorld Advisory, Tech & Operations, where they oversee the recruitment, training, and retention of employees with expertise in data and tech consultancy.

Kirsty Canning completed their Bachelor of Commerce and Administration, with a focus on Marketing and Human Resources and Industrial Relations, from Victoria University of Wellington in 2008-2011. Kirsty then pursued a Bachelor of Tourism Management (BTM) Honours from the same university, graduating in 2012. Currently, Kirsty is studying at Avado, where they are working towards obtaining an Associate Diploma in People Management (CIPD Level 5), expected to be completed in 2023. Before their university education, Kirsty attended Taradale High School from 2003 to 2007.
