Vice President of Event Services for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). With a specialty in logistics, she fulfills the role of lead planner, executing conventions, regional conferences, board meetings, and special events. Her team manages more than 50 meetings and events annually and handles travel for the entire association. Gina has accumulated her wealth of knowledge and experience through her work at Strategic Analysis, The Links, Incorporated, The Liaison Capitol Hill Hotel, and Art and Soul Restaurant.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals (NCBMP) and is a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI). Gina has been recognized as an industry leader. She was named to The BizBash 500: 2020 Most Influential Event Professionals and Connect Association Magazine's 40 Under 40 for 2021. She was also the recipient of the NAACP Medgar Wiley Evers Award of Excellence for a Managerial Staff Member in July of 2021.
Gina graduated from Spelman College, with a Bachelor's in Comparative Women's Studies and a concentration in Media and Communications. She has also received a Master's in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University.
