Maxime Alvarez is a Research Engineer at NABLAS, focused on unsupervised anomaly detection and diffusion models for self-supervised anomaly detection in industrial contexts. Previously, Maxime worked as a Computer Vision R&D Engineer at Pretia Technologies, specializing in cross-source point clouds alignment and collaboration with the Japanese government on the PLATEAU project. Maxime's experience includes a software engineering internship at Meta, a teaching assistantship at Université de Sherbrooke, and R&D roles at the Autonomous Control Systems Laboratory, where Maxime contributed to UAV technology.
