Shawn Princell

Shawn Princell is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the payments and financial technology sectors. Currently serving as Executive Vice President of Sales and Board Member at ValidiFI since its rebranding in June 2023, Shawn contributes to creating the largest alternative database of bank and payment data in the marketplace. As a Faster Payments Professional and Project Team Leader at Nacha since July 2020, Shawn oversees the development of a certification program for payments professionals. Additionally, Shawn was a pivotal figure as the CEO and Co-Founder of RIBBIT from November 2020 until its acquisition, focusing on leveraging AI and bank data for smarter financial decisions. Prior to RIBBIT, Shawn held leadership roles, including President at Cash Flow Solutions, which specialized in ACH payment technology. Shawn holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Denison University and has completed additional studies at Flinders University.
