Dorothea Antonio

Dorothea Antonio serves as the Deputy Executive Director for Knowledge Development at NAFSA: Association of International Educators since August 2017, focusing on global engagement and higher education internationalization, along with conference planning and publication efforts. Prior experience includes overseeing academic programs at World Learning, where Dorothea managed large-scale international assistance projects and provided strategic leadership from 2002 to 2010. Additional roles encompass a position in International Studies at the University of Central Florida and serving as a Technical Advisor for the World Health Organization from 1999 to 2002. Dorothea holds a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University at Albany, supplemented by a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University and studies at Universidad Iberoamericana in Ciudad de México.
