Karen Hudson Roberts

Karen Hudson Roberts has extensive work experience in various roles within the public sector. Karen Hudson began their career in 1999 at the South Carolina Department of Administration, where they served as the Benefits Manager and later transitioned to roles such as Subscriber Services Operations Manager and Assistant Director of Administration. In 2012, Karen joined the LABOR, LICENSING AND REGULATION department as the Assistant Deputy Director of Administration, overseeing human resources and procurement. Since 2014, they have worked at the University of South Carolina as the Associate Vice President of Development Operations and Services, responsible for managing development advancement services and coordinating campaigns. Throughout their career, Karen has demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in areas such as talent management, budgeting, and strategic planning.

Karen Hudson Roberts earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Winthrop University, completing their education from 1986 to 1990.
