Jonathan Godfread

Jonathan Godfread currently serves as the North Dakota Insurance Commissioner and is the Chairperson of the Innovation and Technology Taskforce and the Artificial Intelligence Working Group at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). With extensive experience in regulatory oversight, Jonathan's focus includes the impact of technology and artificial intelligence on the insurance industry, emphasizing consumer protection and the regulatory framework. Previous roles include Vice President of Governmental Affairs at the Greater North Dakota Chamber and various legal and legislative positions. Jonathan holds a dual JD/MBA degree from The University of North Dakota School of Law and a BA in Business Administration from the University of Northern Iowa.
