Gareth Parker

Gareth Parker is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in frontend development and digital transformation. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Naismiths since April 2024, Gareth focuses on driving the company's digital evolution and enhancing its analytics capabilities through modern technologies. Prior to this, Gareth was the Head of Frontend Development at Velo Payments, where the emphasis was on crafting high-quality user interfaces and managing web and mobile strategies for open banking solutions across Europe. Gareth's experience at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence included roles from Senior Frontend Developer to Head of Frontend Development, establishing standards for digital solutions and mentor-led teams. Additional experience encompasses senior software development at Resource Group and frontend web development at Marches Housing Association. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computing from the University of Worcester and a foundation degree in Computing from Herefordshire College of Technology.
