Ximena started their career as the Vice-President of the Student Union of the School of Engineering at CAi - Centro de Alumnos de Ingeniería UC in 2006. Ximena then became a Supreme Councilor at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2008.
In 2010, Ximena joined Duoc UC, where they held multiple positions such as Development and Infrastructure Analyst and Assistant to the Dean. Ximena later became the Academic Director of Electricity and Maintenance Programs at the School of Engineering, Maipú Branch, where they led a staff of 30 and implemented initiatives to improve services for students and promote staff collaboration.
From 2013 to 2016, Ximena worked at Duoc UC as the Deputy Director of Student Affairs, Maipú Branch. In this role, they dealt with crucial issues such as government relations, strategy definitions, and project development.
In 2017, Ximena joined Edu1st as the Director of Strategy and Business Development, where they focused on transforming their model for schools and consultancy services to expand internationally.
