Hilka Alberto

Hilka Kandali Alberto is a seasoned professional in the financial and legal sectors, currently serving as a Council Member for the Financial Industry Cybersecurity Council since November 2022 and as a Board Member for the Business and Intellectual Property Authority since October 2021. With a longstanding commitment to NAMFISA since November 2011, Hilka holds the position of General Manager for Market Conduct and previously served as Manager for Complaints. Prior experience includes roles as Legal Practitioner and Director at Sisa Namandje & Co Incorporated and as a Legal Practitioner at Shikongo Law Chambers. Hilka's academic qualifications encompass a Master’s Degree in Banking & Financial Services Law from the University of Liverpool, a Leadership Development Program from the University of Cape Town, and Bachelor’s Degrees in LL.B and B.Juris from the University of Namibia.
