Brandon Helwig

Brandon Helwig has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2002. Brandon began their career as the Owner of Helwig Technology Consulting, where they provided Linux & Windows System Admin, PHP/MySQL and Flash Development services. Brandon then moved on to Golden West Technologies and Internet Solutions as an Overnight Ops in 2005. In 2009, they were a System Administrator at Push IO Inc. and also founded Faction. From 2014 to 2019, they were a Production Infrastructure Architect at Respys and a Manager, SaaS Engineering at Oracle, where they built multiple internal tools using Python for ETL Tasks, service validation, and integrating with Cloud APIs. Brandon also designed a solution for scale-out expansion of API service across multiple datacenters and a CI/CD solution to automate deployment across multiple legacy and cloud native environments. Most recently, they have been a Platform Architect at Nami ML since 2019.

Brandon Helwig attended South Dakota Mines and studied Computer Science. Brandon also obtained a Puppet Certified Professional certification from Puppet Labs in 2013.
