Alden Goldstein has been working in the software engineering field since 2014. From 2014-2017, they worked as a Software/Hardware Developer for Strike Technologies, LLC, where they designed, implemented, and tested custom FPGA logic for trading strategies, a complete TCP receiver for tracking the entire firm's trading traffic, and a complete UDP receiver that eliminated dropped market data. From 2017-2020, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer for Eigen Technologies, where they were the first NYC-based employee and led the deployment/automation/integration of software for the company's largest project ever. Alden also mentored other NYC engineers, helping debug, sharing knowledge, and instilling best practices. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer for Nammu21, where they programs complex legal analyses, leveraging advanced regex techniques to capture text patterns, and works iteratively with a legal analyst daily to deliver new features weekly or bi-weekly. Alden also builds debugging tools such as a command-line regex highlighter to improve efficiency for process.
Alden Goldstein received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2011. Alden then went on to earn their Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University in 2013.
