Mike Cirillo is president of NANA’s natural resources sector, heading the commercial and natural resource groups which are comprised of subsidiaries that support resource development, as well as other industries.
Mike has over 30 years of global experience in operations, engineering projects, and leadership in the natural resources industry. A recognized industry professional, he is skilled in overseeing safety management systems, project management, and operations.
Mike is a seasoned mine operator who has lived and worked on five continents, leading operations in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North and South America. He has served in positions of increasing responsibility in various countries, including the United States, Chile, Peru, The Netherlands, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He has the ability to work in various languages, including English, French, Spanish and Italian.
Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering from McGill University and an MBA from Western New Mexico University. He holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification in business and process optimization from Motorola.
