Ian Bernier

Ian Bernier, Ing. is an experienced professional specializing in engineering and project management within the materials and battery industries. Currently serving as Project Director for Growth Plans at Nano One Materials Corp. since January 2022, Ian previously held key positions at Johnson Matthey from January 2013 to January 2022, including Engineering and Maintenance Director, as well as Project Engineer focusing on Li-ion Battery Materials. Ian's early career included a role as a Junior Mechanical Engineer at Johnson Matthey, responsible for the operational efficiency of dry process equipment. Additionally, Ian gained experience as a Production Reliability Engineering Intern at ArcelorMittal in 2012. Ian holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke and a DEC in Mechanical Engineering Technology from CÉGEP Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu.
