Jeff Potter

Jeff Potter has over 28 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Jeff is currently the Vice President of Corporate Development and Marketing at Nanometrics Inc. In this role, they are responsible for driving strategic planning and corporate marketing.

Prior to their current position, Jeff worked at BlackBerry IoT as the SVP and Head of Global Sales. There, they played a key role in managing global sales for the company's IoT division.

Before joining BlackBerry IoT, Jeff was the Director of Corporate Development at WiLAN (Now Quarterhill). Jeff was responsible for overseeing corporate development activities within the company.

Jeff also has experience working at Nanometrics, where they served as the Executive Director of Marketing. Jeff played a pivotal role in diversifying the company's market focus and driving partnership development in new sectors.

Earlier in their career, Jeff worked at BreconRidge (now Sanmina-SCI) as the Director of Business Operations. Jeff led the commercial aspects of the company and authored a strategic plan to evolve the business model.

Jeff's work experience also includes serving as the Business Development Manager at Magna Electronics: Autosystems. In this role, they managed all commercial aspects of an exterior lighting start-up and facilitated the sale and integration of a significant competitor.

Throughout their career, Jeff has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a proven track record in driving strategic growth and business development.

Jeff Potter received their Bachelor of Arts Honours degree from McMaster University. Jeff then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from Wilfrid Laurier University, which they completed in 2001.
