Dominik Ziegler

Dominik Ziegler has a diverse range of work experience. Dominik is currently a Member of the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer at Nanosurf since 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Nanosurf from 2020 to 2022.

Before joining Nanosurf, Dominik founded and owned Scuba Probe Technologies from 2014 to 2020. Dominik also worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory from 2010 to 2014.

Dominik's academic background includes being a PhD student at ETH Zurich from 2005 to 2009, where their doctoral thesis focused on Kelvin Probe Microscopy techniques, Multifrequency AFM Techniques, and Graphene. From 2005 to 2008, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nanotechnology at ETH Zürich. Prior to their higher education, Dominik attended Kantonale Mittelschule Uri. Additionally, they gained experience at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
