Igor Coropceanu is a distinguished scientist currently at Nanosys, focusing on the scalable development of quantum dots for optical and optoelectronic applications, as well as formulating solutions to enhance the longevity of quantum dots under environmental stresses. Previously, as a postdoctoral researcher at The University of Chicago, Igor led pioneering research in the assembly of electrostatically stabilized nanoparticles into crystalline structures, while also performing high-throughput screenings for nanoparticle assembly. Igor's academic foundation includes a PhD in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where innovative work on thick-shelled quantum dots and luminescent solar concentrators was conducted, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
