Melissa Attebery, SHRM-CP has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1989 as a Theatre Director and Film & Television Production Assistant for Independent Entertainment Professional. Melissa then moved on to YDS Investment as Office Manager and Executive Assistant in 1999, followed by Granada Entertainment USA (ITV plc, Granada Media UK) in 1997 as Manager of Creative Affairs. In 1996, they worked as an Executive Assistant - Network Television for Paramount Pictures, and then as an Executive Producers' Assistant for MAD TV in 1995. In 1994, they were a Production Assistant for Viacom, and in 1995 they were an Executive Assistant for Channel 4. From 2001 to 2005, they worked as an Executive Assistant and Legal Secretary for Legal | Banking | Property Management, and from 2005 to 2019 they were Manager of Administration & Human Resources, SHRM-CP and Marketing & Special Projects for Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP. In 2019, they became the Human Resources Director for Nanotronics.

Melissa Attebery, SHRM-CP has an education history that includes an MFA in Stage Directing from The New School from 2002 to 2005, as well as a BA in Film Studies and Dramatic Art from UC Santa Barbara from 1989 to 1994.
