Maya Kaufman, PhD

Maya Kaufman, PhD, has a diverse work experience in the field of research and education. Maya is currently working as a Research Engineer at Nanox AI since March 2023. Before that, Maya worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Bar-Ilan University from September 2017 to September 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 2014 to 2017. Maya's earliest professional role was as a Teaching Assistant at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2012.

Maya Kaufman, PhD has a strong educational background in the field of neurobiology. Maya obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Maya then pursued a doctoral degree at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, specializing in neurobiology. Maya successfully completed their PhD studies from 2007 to 2013.
