Michelle Karunaratne

Michelle Karunaratne is a Software Engineer currently employed at NanoXplore SAS since September 2023, focusing on the development of a software tool for simulating timing delays in Static Time Analysis for FPGAs. Prior to this role, Michelle contributed to Fractal Energy from July to August 2023, where responsibilities included creating initial API endpoints for a Python-based backend server. From April 2021 to January 2023, Michelle worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Synopsys Inc, developing a microservice architecture product that predicts test case failures based on RTL code changes. Additionally, Michelle completed a Software Engineering Trainee position at 99X Technology from August 2019 to March 2020, working on a parser for test suite information extraction from log files. Early experience includes a Banking Internship at Hatton National Bank PLC from January to July 2016. Michelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo School of Computing, earned in 2021.
