Wes Jansen

Wes Jansen has a diverse background in technical roles and leadership positions. Wes is currently working as a Cloud Engineer at Prescriptive Data since May 2022. Prior to this, Wes served as the President of WJ Solutions, LLC from June 2020. Wes has also worked as a Senior DevOps Consultant at Perficient from November 2021 to May 2022. Wes gained valuable experience at GE Renewable Energy, where they held several roles including Cloud Architect from August 2020 to November 2021, Cloud Automation Engineer from January 2020 to August 2020, and Robotic Process Automation Developer from July 2019 to January 2020. Before that, they worked as a Technical Consultant at Longenecker & Associates, contributing from September 2016 to June 2020. Additionally, Wes had a Project Execution Internship with the same company from June 2016 to August 2016. Wes also gained experience as a Solution Architecture Intern at GE Power from July 2018 to September 2018.

Wes Jansen completed their education at Skidmore College from 2015 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. In addition to their degree, Wes also obtained several certifications. In June 2020, they obtained the AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. In January 2020, they achieved the Certified Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Most recently, in December 2021, Wes obtained the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification from HashiCorp.
