Dennis K. has a diverse work experience in the field of IT audit and management. Dennis currently holds the position of Head of IT Audit at Nanyang Commercial Bank Ltd. starting from 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager in the Internal Audit Division of Dah Sing Bank from 2017 to 2022, where they were responsible for the IT audit of the group. Before joining Dah Sing Bank, Dennis worked at Deloitte China as a Manager from 2011 to 2017, where they specialized in information security and led a team of auditors providing IT audit services to various clients. Dennis also has previous experience as an Analyst Programmer at Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), Assistant Engineer at PCCW and China Mobile Hong Kong, and Research Assistant at The University of Hong Kong.
Dennis K. began their education at The University of Hong Kong in 1999, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Dennis completed their undergraduate studies in 2002.
After a break in their education, Dennis returned to school in 2008 and enrolled at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. There, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Management Information Systems, General, which they completed in 2010.
In addition to their formal education, Dennis has obtained various certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge in the field. In 2005, they became a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). In 2007, they obtained the Sun Certified System Administrator (SCSA) Part 1 certification from Sun Microsystems. In 2010, they achieved the Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². In 2013, they obtained the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) from the Cloud Security Alliance. In 2014, Dennis became a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA. Most recently, in May 2020, they completed the course "How to Develop your Career Plan" from LinkedIn.
