Luke Ong

Luke Ong currently serves as the Dean of the College of Computing and Data Science, Vice President for AI & Digital Economy, Distinguished University Professor, and Vice President of Research at Nanyang Technological University Singapore since August 2022. Additionally, Luke Ong has held a professorial position at the University of Oxford since 1994 and serves as an Emeritus Fellow at Merton College, Oxford. Previous roles include Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Oxford and Lecturer at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore. Luke Ong began academic pursuits as a Prize Research Fellow at Trinity College, University of Cambridge. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from Imperial College London, a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science with Distinction, and a BA in Mathematics, both from the University of Cambridge.
