Peter Vestergaard Thomsen has extensive work experience in sales and business development. Peter Vestergaard started their career at RE Technology as an Area Sales Manager from June 1992 to November 1993. From December 1993 to July 1994, they worked as an Area Sales Manager at Phase One. Peter Vestergaard then joined GN Nettest as a Business Development Director, where they focused on developing and implementing business plans to increase sales and awareness of the company's product division. From August 1994 to December 2005, they worked at Anritsu A/S in various roles, including Channel Manager and Sales Development Manager. At Anritsu, they were responsible for export sales management, team leadership, and implementing promotional campaigns and competitor analysis. Peter joined LitePoint in May 2008 as a Sales Manager EMEA, where they sold and promoted the company's innovative solutions for minimizing testing time in R&D and production, with a focus on wireless connectivity. Peter Vestergaard then moved to Napatech A/S in August 2010 as a Sales Director for EMEA, selling intelligent network adaptors to high-tech OEM clients in the Lawful Interception, IDS/IPS, and NGN T&M markets in Central Europe. Peter Vestergaard eventually became the Senior Sales Director at Napatech, with global account responsibility for a major network equipment manufacturer and Napatech's largest customers in EMEA. Peter has a strong background in sales, business development, and account management in the technology industry.

Peter Vestergaard Thomsen earned their Masters of Engineering degree in Export Engineering from the Engineering College of Copenhagen and the Copenhagen University College of Engineering, attending from 1987 to 1992. Prior to that, they obtained a Studentereksamen degree with a focus on Language & Economics from Dronninglund Gymnasium, completing their studies from 1981 to 1984.
