Tom Rutter

Tom Rutter is an experienced mechanic specializing in diesel mechanics and crane operations. Currently serving as a Crane Technician and Diesel Mechanic at Napier Port since May 2021, Tom has previously worked at ISO Limited and Schlumberger, focusing on diesel mechanics. Additional experience includes roles as a Diesel Fitter at TransDiesel Ltd and a Maintenance Coordinator at Traverse Drilling International, where responsibilities involved maintaining diamond drilling rigs. Early career experience includes serving as a resident field service mechanic at Gough Cat and completing an apprenticeship there. Tom holds an NCEA Level 1, 2, and 3 from Havelock North High School, completed between 2000 and 2005.
