Don Chin

Don Chin has a strong background in software development and engineering. Don has held various roles in multiple companies, showcasing their expertise and versatility. Don'smost recent position was as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Narrative since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Cloud Architect at Techwondoe from September 2021 to May 2023. Don also served as a Lead Software Engineer at Relay from September 2021 to May 2023, where they managed a team of software engineers and provided technical guidance and mentorship. Before that, they held the position of Software Developer at Paymark from January 2015 to September 2021 and at Datacom from February 2009 to September 2021, where they worked on both client projects and internal projects. Don has also worked as a Software Developer at Downer New Zealand, UDC Finance Limited, New Zealand Government, Orion Health, and TelstraClear, gaining experience in various technologies and industries.

Don Chin attended Auckland Grammar School. After completing high school, they pursued higher education at The University of Auckland. From 2004 to 2008, they studied Software Engineering with Hons and Operations Management, earning a dual Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce degree.
