Michael Kolar

Michael Kolar is an experienced professional with a robust background in engineering, architecture, and project management, primarily at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory since 2005. In the role of Product Delivery Manager, Kolar oversees the MBSE modernization initiative, collaborating with program sponsors for effective project execution. Previously, as Enterprise Architect for JPL’s Concept Shop, Kolar focused on business transformation and new capabilities for space mission concepts. Kolar's extensive experience includes leadership positions in IT architecture, integrated ground data systems, and the development of enterprise infrastructures in various organizations, including Amgen Inc. and the California Institute of Technology. Kolar holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, a Master of Arts in Management Science from the University of Redlands, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge.
