Timothy Hood Jr.

Timothy Hood Jr. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Timothy started their career as the Co-Marketing/Customer Service/Human Resource/Grocery Manager at BI-LO, LLC, where they managed a team of over 50 employees and focused on maintaining store conditions and meeting customer needs. During their time at BI-LO, Timothy also supervised scheduling, training, and development of the workforce, and implemented strategies to reduce shrink and increase productivity.

After leaving BI-LO, Timothy became the Owner of Precision PC'z Computer Repair & Upgrade, a business they successfully managed for three years before transitioning into a career in engineering. At NASCENT Technology, Timothy held multiple roles including Engineering Manager, Manufacturing/Production Supervisor, and Engineer. In their most recent position as Director of Product Operations & Engineering, Timothy oversaw and assisted engineers with product design, test, validation, and documentation. Timothy also developed engineering and manufacturing process flows, procedures, and implemented continuous improvement activities to ensure best practices within the organization.

Timothy Hood Jr. completed their high school education at Olympic High School, receiving a diploma in General Education in 1997. Timothy then pursued further education at ITT-Technical Institute, where they obtained an Associate degree in Computer Electronics Engineering Technology from 2007 to 2009. Continuing their academic journey, Hood Jr. went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Communication Engineering Technology from ITT-Technical Institute, completing the program from 2009 to 2011.
