Saad Al Qeshtaini has extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. In 1983, they started their career as a Senior Systems Analyst at RSNF, where they managed hardware, software, manpower, and systems communications. Saad also provided technical advice to the Computer Department management and evaluated technical contracts and vendor proposals. In 1995, Saad joined Banque Saudi Fransi as a Senior IT Security Consultant, where they set security policies for the bank and implemented security measures for the Fransiplus portal. Saad also supervised penetration tests for the bank's IT systems.
In 2004, Saad began working as a Freelancer, initially serving as an ITSM Principal Consultant. Saad was certified as an ITIL Expert and provided IT Service Management consulting services. Saad also worked as a Training & Educational Solutions Manager, specializing in IT training programs.
Since 2012, Saad has been serving as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at National Advanced Systems Co. (NASCO). In this role, they have been responsible for various tasks such as ERP project management using IT Service Management methodologies, re-contracting the IT department, assessing and improving IT security measures, and enhancing IT staff expertise through training programs. Saad has also composed IT policies based on SOX standards, conducted business and process re-engineering for the IT department, managed IT fixed assets, and participated in NASCO restructuring projects. Additionally, they led the data center rebuild and played a role in the procurement department and processes restructuring.
Saad Al Qeshtaini obtained their Bachelor of Science degree from KFUPM (King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals) in Industrial Management and Information Systems (IS) from 1975 to 1981. Additionally, they pursued Information Systems as their field of study during the same period at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
