Shiran Attias has over 10 years of professional experience in software engineering and product management. In 2010, they began their career as a Software QA & Performance Engineer at Mamram, where they were selected to attend the load engineering course and was responsible for assuring the quality of classified military information systems. In 2012, they moved to Comverse, where they analyzed data to root system errors, recognized trends, and diagnosed complex customer-facing issues. In 2016, they co-founded App of Joe, a startup to disrupt the coffee industry in NYC, and was featured in Business Insider, Timeout, and other magazines. Shiran was responsible for defining user stories, building user flow and wireframes, and translating them into scrum sprints with the development team. In 2018, Shiran was a Networks and Communications Summer Intern at Bloomberg LP, where they led a bandwidth upgrade project for 84 data circuits across major Canadian telecom vendors, managed a migration project with a single vendor, and initiated the usage of a ping-testing platform. Currently, Shiran is a Product Manager and Software Engineer at Happy Home Technologies and a Product Manager at Nasdaq Private Market.
Shiran Attias began their educational journey in 2006 when they attended Kiryat Sharet High School in Holon, where they studied Computer Programming and Chemistry. In 2010, they joined the Israel Defense Forces, where they worked as a QA engineer and studied Quality Control and Safety Technologies/Technicians. In 2011, they obtained a certification in Software Testing from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. The following year, they worked as a Performance Engineer in the Israel Defense Forces, studying Computer Science. In 2015, they enrolled at Columbia University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science with a Concentration in Business Management. In 2020, they obtained their Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
