John Leonard Ryan

John Leonard Ryan is an accomplished project and program manager with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Principal Program Manager at Nasdaq since May 2020, Ryan previously held senior roles including Senior Project Manager at HSBC and Senior IT Project Manager at ICBC Standard Bank Plc, where key projects included KYC implementation and compliance systems development. Ryan’s earlier experience encompasses project management in compliance IT at Lloyds Banking Group and Dresdner Kleinwort, where significant projects involved Actimize platforms for anti-money laundering and trade surveillance. Additionally, Ryan has a background in communication strategy and web architecture from roles at UBS and Aztek Multimedia Ltd, and has contributed to academia as a visiting lecturer at Ulster University.
