Emily Sue Laird

Emily Sue Laird is a versatile professional with a robust background in the arts and library services. As a Library Assistant at Nashville Public Library since July 2017, Emily manages the young adult collection, creates engaging programming, and provides exceptional customer service. Concurrently, as the Owner and Creative Director of Artist Nashville, Emily oversees the design and production of large-scale art installations and has collaborated with numerous notable organizations. Previous roles include Technical Director at The Rymer Gallery, Teen Mentor at Nashville Public Library Foundation, and Art Director at PopCause. Emily holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Watkins College of Art, Design & Film, graduating Cum Laude in Sculptural Installation.
