Gaurav Seth

Gaurav Seth has extensive work experience in various finance roles. Gaurav served as the Commercial Finance Director at Nasstar, where they provided strategic support to the executive team and board of a private equity-backed B2B IT and Technology business. Gaurav was responsible for creating and leading a new Commercial Finance function and driving process and system improvements.

Prior to Nasstar, Gaurav was the Regional Finance Director - Global Brands at Hyve Group plc, a FTSE listed B2B Events Company. Gaurav oversaw the finance operations of a high-growth, international division that organized conferences and trade shows worldwide. Gaurav reported to the divisional managing director and the group CFO.

Gaurav also held the position of Finance & Commercial Director - London Cycle Hire at Serco. In this role, they managed the financial and commercial aspects of Serco's contract with Transport for London to operate the London Cycle Hire Scheme (commonly known as "Boris Bikes"). Gaurav was responsible for the technology platform, service delivery, and supply chain management.

Additionally, Gaurav worked at Crossrail Ltd as an Analysis and Planning Manager, where they contributed to the planning and analysis of projects. Gaurav also gained experience at Tesco as a Group Commercial Finance Business Partner and Corporate Finance Senior Analyst, where they supported procurement and provided detailed cost analysis.

Prior to their roles at Hyve Group, Serco, Crossrail, and Tesco, Gaurav worked at Deloitte as a Manager in M&A Transaction Services and as an Assistant Manager in Assurance and Advisory.

Gaurav Seth completed their MA (Oxon) in Philosophy, Politics & Economics at the University of Oxford from 1998 to 2001. Gaurav also obtained the Chartered Accountant (Fellow) certification from ICAEW in 2005 and the PRINCE2® 2009 Certifications from PeopleCert in 2020.
