Jim Plummer

Jim Plummer has extensive work experience in various engineering and leadership roles. Jim is currently the Director of Platform Engineering at Nasuni since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Engineering at Qualifacts from December 2021 to April 2023. Before Qualifacts, Jim held multiple roles at BAE Systems, including Program Engineering Manager for classified and unmanned underwater vehicle programs. Jim also served as the Director of Engineering and Software Engineer at Riptide Autonomous Solutions, where they managed a team of engineers and spearheaded the development of autonomous underwater vehicles. Earlier in their career, Jim worked at HPE SimpliVity, Stratus Technologies, Emulex, Mangosoft, and Banyan Systems, taking on various engineering and management roles.

Jim Plummer received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1991. Jim has also earned several certifications including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in April 2021, Certified Agile Leadership I from Scrum Alliance in June 2016, and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in March 2012.
