Tom Rose has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the technology industry. Tom began their career at Digital Equipment Corporation as a Software Engineer, where they gained valuable knowledge in building and delivering enterprise-class software. Tom then transitioned into product management and marketing roles, working at companies such as HyperDesk and HighGround Systems, where they played a crucial role in the development and launch of innovative products in the storage resource management and groupware sectors.
Rose later held positions at Courion Corporation, AppIQ (acquired by HP), and Hewlett-Packard, where they oversaw marketing strategies, repositioning efforts, and sales enablement for the respective companies' products. Tom'saccomplishments include leading Courion on the path to becoming a Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader and helping AppIQ achieve success through disruptive technology and an OEM business model.
In 2008, Rose joined Unidesk as the Chief Marketing Officer, where they played a key role in defining, launching, and evangelizing the company's application layering technology. Under their leadership, Unidesk grew to more than 1,400 customers and was eventually acquired by Citrix.
Most recently, Rose served as the Vice President of Enablement and Value Realization at Nasuni, where they were responsible for sales and technical enablement, competitive tools, and product documentation. Tom also served as the company's Chief Product Evangelist, driving demand generation and awareness through partner events. Rose played a vital role in implementing value selling strategies and creating TCO models for various cloud platforms.
Throughout their career, Rose has consistently demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the technology industry.
Tom Rose earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Clarkson University, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Tom later pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration at Rivier University, completing their studies from 1989 to 1994.
