Conor O'Shea

Research Assistant, NatCen International at NatCen Social Research

Conor O’Shea is a Research Assistant with NatCen International, a global social policy programme at the National Centre for Social Research. He is an experienced survey and qualitative interviewer. Prior to joining NatCen International, he carried out survey interviews for NatCen’s field team. He also did project management work at Bristol City and Ealing Councils.

Conor holds a master’s degree in sociology from the University of Bristol. Drawing on the British Social Attitudes survey, his thesis was an examination of the relationship between voting patterns in the UK and levels of trust in epistemic authorities. Conor has a strong interest in social research as a pathway towards the empowerment of marginalised groups.
