Drew Michael

Laboratory Director, Oncology at Natera

Drew Michael, Ph.D., FACMG, currently serves as the Laboratory Director of Oncology at Natera since May 2021. Prior to this role, Drew Michael was the Director of Molecular and Biochemical Diagnostics at Children's National Hospital from 2019 to 2021 and held an Assistant Professor position in Genomics and Precision Medicine at The George Washington University during the same period. From 2015 to 2019, Drew Michael was the Chief Clinical Genetics Fellow at the National Institutes of Health. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Georgetown University, and undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado Boulder.
