Omid Shams Solari

Omid Shams Solari, Ph.D., is an experienced machine learning scientist specializing in early cancer detection, currently serving as Lead Machine Learning Scientist at Natera since April 2022. Prior roles include AI Lead and Senior Machine Learning Research Scientist at Ravel Biotechnology, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, supported by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Biohub. Omid has a robust academic background from UC Berkeley, holding a PhD in Statistics and a Master's in Computational and Applied Mathematics, alongside dual Bachelor's degrees in Computational Physics and Computational Fluid Dynamics from Sharif University of Technology.
