Bereavement Camp Coordinator at Nathan Adelson Hospice

Patti Fitzpatrick is a seasoned grief specialist with extensive experience in bereavement support and mental health. Since August 2012, Patti has served as the Bereavement Camp Coordinator at Nathan Adelson Hospice, working in partnership with the Moyer Foundation to facilitate a three-day camp for children aged 6-17 who have lost loved ones. In previous roles, Patti was a Chaplain providing support to families during their time of loss and served as a Pastoral Associate and Director of the Ministry of Bereavement at St. Norbert Catholic School. Additionally, Patti has been self-employed as a grief specialist, writer, and blogger since 2005, focusing on helping individuals navigate their grief journeys. Patti's educational background includes a Master's degree in Pastoral Studies/Counseling from Loyola University Chicago, a Master's degree in Taxation from DePaul University, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Early career experiences include positions as a Tax Supervisor at Premark and a Tax Accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co.
